Loading MOVO-X…
NHS Trusts, GP federations, and private groups across the UK use MOVO-X to bring waiting-room flow under control without breaking NHS Digital DSPT, MHRA medical-device, or UK GDPR rules. Built for the realities of the NHS Frontline Digitisation programme — kiosks talk to EMIS, TPP SystmOne, and Cerner Millennium where they exist; private wings use them for Bupa, AXA Health, and Vitality panel verification.
NHS number + UK driving licence
NHS number is a 10-digit identifier — not chip-based. Patients enter the number, scan their UK driving licence (PDF417 barcode), or present a passport. Optional photo + signature capture for biometric matching.
PDS lookup via NHS Digital APIs (Personal Demographics Service); CIS2 and the NHS App where deep-link sign-in is available; private clinics fall back to driving-licence OCR + insurance-card scan.
MOVO-X meets the NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit baseline — encryption, audit, IG processes — with documentation packaged for Caldicott Guardians and information governance leads.
Bupa, AXA, Vitality, Aviva panel codes captured at the kiosk. Insurer pre-auth confirmation on screen before the patient sees the consultant.
GP Connect HL7 FHIR adapters mean MOVO-X kiosks check in patients without forcing a rip-and-replace of the practice EPR.
Where Trusts have deep-linked the NHS App, MOVO-X passes the patient straight through. Where they haven't, kiosks handle ID + demographics in 90 seconds.

Yes. MOVO-X uses the GP Connect HL7 FHIR APIs to read demographics, appointments, and (where supported) write back arrival flags. Practice managers control which fields the kiosk surfaces.
Yes. The platform meets the NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit "Standards Met" tier — encryption at rest and in transit, audit-log immutability, IG-toolkit-compatible access controls, and DCB0129/DCB0160 clinical-risk documentation. We provide the dossier alongside the deployment.
Yes. Where a Trust has enabled NHS App deep-linking, MOVO-X passes the patient straight from the app to a one-tap arrival flow. Otherwise, NHS number + DOB + driving-licence scan completes registration in ~60 seconds.
Two flows on the same hardware. NHS patients arrive against an NHS slot. Private patients run insurer eligibility (Bupa, AXA, Vitality, Aviva, WPA) and any payable balance is taken at the kiosk via card or Apple Pay. The Caldicott Guardian sets the data-sharing rules per flow.
The MOVO-X kiosk is a Class I non-measuring medical device when used as a patient-facing UI. Where workflow features (e.g., decision support) cross the Class IIa threshold, MOVO-X provides the technical file and DCB0129/DCB0160 hazard log; we work with your CSO on UKCA marking and post-market surveillance.
